* English Manor Rolls Collection
"This collection consists of 170 parchment rolls of diverse type (court-rolls, account-rolls, and others) from various manors, ranging in date from 1305 to 1770. The largest concentration of these rolls comes from the manor of Moulton in Cheshire. Other manors represented in large number are Odiham Hundred, Hampshire; Herstmonceaux, Sussex; Chartley, Staffordshire; and Onhouse, Suffolk. The rolls are grouped roughly by manor, but this arrangement is not adhered to consistently." The site provides an index to the rolls stored at the Library as well as a handlist with more detailed information. But the site does not provide the full text nor any images of the rolls. You will need to go to Boston to see them.

* Manorial Documents Register
"The Manorial Documents Register (MDR) identifies the location of manorial records. The MDR is partially computerised – Wales, the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, Norfolk, Surrey, Middlesex and the three Ridings of Yorkshire are available online. See Search the MDR. However the majority of the counties have not yet been computerised and information is still only available by visiting our searchroom or writing in with an enquiry." From the National Archives of the UK. The system lets you search for manor records stored in archives around the UK. You cannot view the records online, but you can find them.
